Focus and Scope

Empati adalah jurnal terbitan berkala nasional yang memuat artikel hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Empati diharapkan dapat menjadi media dan wadah untuk menyampaikan temuan, terobosan, serta inovasi dalam rangka peningkatan dan pengembangan masyarakat.

Artikel yang dimuat dalam Jurnal EMPATI berbasis pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, edukasi, peningkatan kemampuan atau kapasitas masyarakat, pemberi layanan, serta pengembangan masyarakat.

Empati merupakan jurnal peer-reviewed dan open access yang berfokus pada bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Section Policies

Peer Review Process

In the reviewing process, there are at least two reviewers for each manuscript according to the related topic. The judgment from both reviewers will be the main consideration for the editor in making the editorial decision.

Generally, reviewer candidates are selected based on their reputation, publication record, and the quality of their scientific expertise. The editor sends an invitation letter to each reviewer candidate. After the reviewer confirms availability, the editor creates a reviewer account and assigns the manuscript through OJS.

All reviewing processes are conducted using a double-blind review system and are managed by the editor through OJS.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal ini terjadwalkan terbit setiap bulan April dan Oktober.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

EMPATI supports the dissemination of community service innovations to strengthen education, empowerment, and sustainable community development.
